This is my first blog entry. I have an academic webpage here. But this is to do
with my professional life at the University of Victoria. In this blog I don't intend to say much about professional and academic matters. Rather I plan on commenting on my travels, thoughts and current affairs.

I agree with you on Invictus (in fact I think I recommended it, as I watched it on the way over to you).
I have read Ghost and enjoyed it as a "quick read" novel. I didn't realsie there was a Polanski film of the book (isn't he in gaol?) and I wouldn't have planned to see it, but given your review, I may well look out for it now.
